Returned Services League of Australia (RSL)
In January 1999, Unibic and the RSL launched The RSL ANZAC biscuit. Every packet of RSL ANZAC Biscuits sold, generates over 8 cents for the RSL and these profits go directly to support its charitable works. More than $1.5 Million has been raised to support projects such as the Veterans' Homes Trust of Victoria and the RSL Widows & Widowed Mothers' Trust Patriotic Fund.
In February, 2002, Unibic commenced the same project in New Zealand to support the Royal New Zealand Returned Services Association (RNZRSA). In July 2003, the project was launched in the United Kingdom. Every packet of ANZAC Biscuits sold, generates an income for the Royal British Legion. More importantly, the legacy of the ANZAC Spirit is being explained to new generations of the English public. In 2004, Unibic ANZAC biscuits were launched in the USA, supporting the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars). In 2005, Unibic in India launched the ANZAC biscuit pack, where 3% of sales help to provide support to India's war widows, as well as Indian Jawans who are in need of artificial limbs.
The Project’s aims are to educate children to understand that the freedom and lifestyle that we all enjoy today is a result of the sacrifices of the incredible men and women who gave up their lives protecting our country whenever Australian Services have answered the call. Specific projects have been designed to bring the veteran community and children (in schools and sporting clubs) together so that the inherent values of that generation can be preserved.
"Adopt as your fundamental creed that will equip you for life, not solely for your own benefit, but for the benefit of the whole community." General Sir John Monash, "Australia's greatest soldier" (1865 - 1931).

Starlight Children's Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to brightening the lives of over 200,000 seriously ill children and their families by granting wishes, and by providing entertainment both in and out of hospitals throughout Australia. The Foundation does not receive any government funding and is funded entirely by individuals, corporations and special events. In September 2002, Unibic launched "Dunk for Starlight" with every special edition packet of Sponge Fingers sold in supermarkets nationally during September generating 8 cents for the Starlight Children's Foundation. Unibic have continued their support of the Foundation and donations are now around 10c per packet of Sponge Finger 250g. Our total donation to date is in excess of $500,000.
